This will be the fifth year of the Athletes for Africa charity sport series. These unique sports events — Rock the Pitch and Rock the Court — allow members of the general public to get involved and make a difference, while also giving them the very unique opportunity to go toe-to-toe with a collection of music, media and local celebrities. These events have already raised over $200,000 for youth.

Rock the Pitch was our fourth annual soccer event. It took place on Saturday, August 11th at Toronto’s Lamport Stadium.
Registration was just $350 with a co-ed team of 10-12 players (with a minimum of two female players). You were guaranteed four matches (5v5), game jersey, after-party and great prizes. And, the top fundraising teams were placed in our celebrity round-robin pools featuring the ‘A4A Soccer All-Stars’ and theScore’s ‘Footy Show FC’.
There were also some great fundraising rewards in 2012 too! In fact, we gave away a trip for two anywhere in Canada (including flight and hotel). But, everyone was a winner, on and off the pitch!
